The Intersection of DEI &
Business Development

The Legal Marketing Association's (LMA) Southeast Region presents a four-week diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) essential/advanced intensive program for legal marketers.

 

Angelica Crisi, partner and COO of Coston Consulting, will join the panel on May 11, 2022 on the "The Intersection of DEI and Business Development."

The program will explore how every firm should consider a client-focused and client-inclusive DEI strategy. A thoughtful strategy is critical to the development, implementation, and success of any effort that could propel DEI to extend beyond a business imperative to a business accelerator. Legal marketers have an important role in ensuring that DEI is intertwined in business development and client relationship management efforts.

During the first hour of the panel, key topics will include lateral integration; pitch teams and sales practices; BD coaching and mentoring to underrepresented populations; best practices for affinity groups; speaking to the needs of diverse attorneys; and marketing diverse identifies.

​

The second hour of the panel will focus on providing participants with tangible tools to develop programs that employ innovative ways for their firms to partner with clients to further DEI between organizations.
